TT 4



I am following the (https://precalculus11.wordpress.com) Kim’s grade 11 Pre-calculus blog. I think they have very good teacher circle because from that school most of teacher are use the blog for the students learning. I taught Grade-11 Pre-calculus in my fall practicum. So from this blog that I refresh my knowledge. I know that most of the students have very good knowledge about mathematics but every day they have stuck in some examples in that case if they have idea about the blog so they can share their thoughts and send message for help. In that any other students have same problem in that case teacher will get idea about that we need revise this topic or need more practice examples.

Here I liked that most of the parents asking about what’s the topic going on and they are asking about when the students test. These all types of the information that we get from the blog. And teacher has some relaxation about these types of the questions.

Students also refer the blog for study preparation because whatever going on the class that things teacher put on blog. Students also refer some other teacher blog and also from that they get idea.



I have also think about blog for my placement like same thing as we follow in internet for educator class. Teacher give assignment and students pick two to three example and solve and posted on blog as well as they have commented the other two examples. That way they have made their materials and that is helpful to exam preparation. Also students have knowledge than they will helpful in other subject. Because they have also start to follow the other teacher blog.

TT 12_The Future


Form the horizon report, I have got good infographic that we can make our model, what we can do as an educator for students’ learning and students’ engagement.






























I liked this report that they mentioned clearly what we can do within 1 month to 5 years. They describe important developments in technology likely to have a large impact over coming five years for considering any angle of the earth. They also describe 18 topics related k-12 education like six key trends, six significant challenges, and six important development. We pick any one or two category and bring in our teaching that is best way. I talked to my CT and his said, first few year very difficult to integrate technology in subject. But he also said that technology is most important for all students for involvement and more fun way for learning.

Consumer technologies: We can use tool for recreational and professional purposes and quite adaptable for use in school. The consumer technologies like robotics, 3D video but it takes lot of time to make this type of the activity but it is worth it.

Digital strategies: We have lot of instructional strategies and we had to method class and we have experienced about that if we used this strategies that make students engagement. The age of 21st  century that we use different devices so now time to use different learning strategies in that use of devices and software to enrich teaching and learning, whether inside or outside of the classroom. As strategies that we can use flipped classroom, bring your own device, Makerspaces. This all strategies that we can use easily.


Enabling technologies: This type of the learning that we need lot of information about different subject like artificial intelligence, Machine learning, Neural network, fuzzy logic etc. In all these subject the students also engage in the some hand on approach. In these type technologies that they also need some coding knowledge. Sometimes we have question that all thing to learn is very hard but I know one of my professor whose age was 55 years and he was learning this all type of the subject and also they guided us. Means if we have passion then we can do it.
Learning Strategies:  We can add information from different devices. We have got knowledge from our guest speaker. Most of the presentation are on the zoom so we get knowledge form the online. Also we have get knowledge via devices like mobile.
Social Media Technology: As well established as social media is, it continues to evolve at a rapid pace, with new ideas, tools, and development coming online constancy.
Visualization technology: We can do some infographic to complex forms of visuals of data analysis.

Finally, I read one newspaper cutting that Artificial Intelligence and Classrooms which I have attached here: Will It Help or Hurt?

The question of artificial intelligence in education is not really one of "if" but of "when." It is projected by The World Economic Forum that by 2020, at least 5 million jobs worldwide will be automated. With computers taking over more jobs, it is imperative that we become advanced at building and interacting with software tools. To this end, President Obama has made a conscious effort to incorporate computer science courses for all U.S. students. If humans are no longer doing the jobs, perhaps they can invent the technology that does. This tech literacy is vital to the future economy but the implications are a bit overwhelming if you really stop to think. 
While most of the education AI software is still in the development stages, advancing technology could drastically alter the landscape of how students learn. Will it end up improving classrooms and teaching methods? Or lower the standard of what is taught to our K-12 students?
Now we have duty to learn six stages and inspired to the students that they also joined in this type of the computer based learning.

TT_11_Kahoot!


This is very good tool for students and teacher, for business person. Teacher can use in asking question as an activation part and make Kahoot! for last part of the class to summarize the lesson. In this game students play independently as well as play as a team .This is very easy to make quizzes or discussion in kahoot , also engaging to the students very fun way. In my last two placement, I used Kahoot! and I would say that is fantastic way to revise your lesson. We could use Kahoot! during lesson and we can ask questions instead of asking traditional way of questions.


Kahoot is a game based classroom response tool. We have some time limits when we attain the quiz and we can see the score after every question. It is free tool. It has inbuilt very nice music so when quiz start we can enjoy when we attain it.


We can make our own account in kahoot! to make games, quiz. In account we can make your subject level quizzes and save that quiz and so any time we could play it. In question, character limit should be 95 words. And time limit is 1 to 120 seconds. 
For students, they don’t need any account for playing game. But they entered just pin number from the smartboard in their mobile or computers and start paying one by one questions. Answer is not display until all players are attended question and if time up then no one can attain it. Teacher has control on the questions means Teacher can stop game in the middle of the game.  

In this video, They gives all information about how do we create Kahoot!

We can say that this is the best way to introduce the new topic by using create good questions. Teacher could be use this for formative assessment because Kahoot show the result after each questions and finally Kahoot shows points. If you think that your students need the same questions again then you will provide that. This way the students engage more in class. The other main point is you can pause each question and discuss with students and they lead the discussion. Answer of the question is another tool for collaborative work.

Students make their own Kahoot! and discuss with their friends which is also one of the way of collaborative work. There are so many ways to use Kahoot in our activity.

TT_8_PODCAST

I like to listen our spiritual talk everyday and I have exam for that on 5th March and that about 5 hours’ exam. For this exam, books are available online as a PDF file and also recorded that books in someone’s voice and so we can listen those books on our spiritual website. I have spend my most of the time in the kitchen, at that time I listen that recorded books everyday and so I do not spend special time for book reading. I can remember more when I listen something and so when I making some food, travelling in bus then I always listen those books and that save my time.


I had never think about this podcast can be used in our classroom. This is amazing way to learn the subject topics. I read the biography of the Mr.Ghandhi (father of Nation of India), Mr. Kalam (was the President of India) ,they were used their time wisely and their philosophy is ‘Do not waste your time’. Today, I am thinking that our students can also save their time and make effort to achieve whatever their goal. In mathematics, they can record their voice to memorise the formula or steps for solving problem, in science or any other subject they can also record own voice for important topics or some theory. Then listen your recorded topic when we are free like in washroom, travelling, cooking time. Students get also opportunities to recorded their discussion and put on the school websites as per school rules.



As a teacher, our goal is to get maximum knowledge and update our information and lot of podcast available for teachers that they give information related our education. In classroom we also recorded our voice and summarise the lesson in 4 to 5-minute recording. In this method students cannot need more attention as we need in video because here we are listening not watching. In classroom we can use podcast in some activity like first students listen the podcast and in between that we can ask some questions and they can do discussion, also they can write summary on that podcast. I had one subject in my last semester, in that we had chance to listen one radio conversation and we had to write summary on that and that was our assignment which was awesome and different.

I have been listening the podcast of the Mathtrain.TV Podcast. This podcast is short like 3 to 4 minutes’ length but they have given all information related to mathematics. Like they are talking about the volume of the sphere and cylinder. They mentioned formula of the volume and how we can have used cylinder for finding volume of the sphere. Voice was very clear and make good pace for students to understand. 

Second one,














This is Mr. Barton Maths podcast. He is secondary school math teacher at Thronleigh Salesian college, in sunny Bolton, Lancashire. In this podcast, he is taking interview of the math person, Dylan William, Dan Mayer, Tom Bennet, Jo Morgana and many more. I have been reading Dan Mayer’s blogs, he is good in math and also he was talking about the Desmos activity. Here, in this interview, he is talking about how to engage students in the math classroom and also taking about self and students assessment need to develop teaching skills. I know this interview are very lengthy like 1 to 2 hours but it is useful.

Really, this podcast is useful for teacher for making good knowledge as well as for students that they can learn in different way and memorize the stuff.

Blog 8... Week 8

In this week, we had very interesting presentation about the Re-imaging learning in the connected classroom. Bryce Ridgen, principal of Minidosa came to provide some good knowledge about technology. He had good experience about how to teach high school students with integrated technology. He is working as an administrator and they use technology in school that is good point because we heard in some presentation that sometimes we need permission when we use some technology. As an administrator, he use technology that is good for school and staff because teacher also get knowledge from that.
In his presentation, he talked about the Re-define learning with SAMR model. We all know that some teacher has good technology knowledge and some has no experience before that so this technology is arise anxiety that comes along with if make new changes. That is very difficult if you learn something new and which you heard that first time.
In this case, SAMR model to comfort educators into adopting with new technology. This model teaches that how impact on learning and teaching.

Substitution: A lot of times, when schools circulate new technology integration, teachers start out substituting technology for traditional tasks. for example, students use word processing instead of handwriting an essay. Some students aren’t using new skill, they just use as a tool as a substitute for paper and pencil.

Augmentation: In augmentation, students use spell check, highlighting and editing in the word processor. I found that a little higher on the technology scale is augmentation, where the task yields a some more product than with other technology.

Modification: This link between enhancing the traditional classroom and transforming the classroom. Students’ are working in project work that they are used google docs. In google docs they can change and add the stuff by using technology.

Redefinition: In this case, the students are working on presentation or making visually presentation.
 In this task students' engagement is high.




Also he talked about technology is not about application but it is about learning. He said make fun in the classroom by using technology as well as about schoology and edmudo. He talked about the desmos and take out the calculator because this is great app in math. Make real world connection by using technology and it is easy to integrate because everyone has one device like mobile or Tablets.
He also presented that today learning is easy because you can gain knowledge form the twitter,blog and from online courses, from google, different resources.

He also pointed that you do not remove the technological devices from the classroom but you make your stuff in app form so students can use their devices. So, we have to give direction and make control on some technology in class in different way. He also talked about the students’ creativity by using the snap chat.

Finally I would say, I really like that presentation which was engaging and with new thoughts.

Week 7.....

In last week, we had guest speaker John Finch. We discussed about some formal things like how the job market is tight and what they have expected from the teacher. He also talked that how difficult to print subject book and how much they are invested as per students in the school. They talked about how they are filter the subject material and they tried that students get maximum from that filter materials.

I surprised that how short and sweet detailing about the health and safety guidelines given by John Finch. He provided material for health and safety guidelines and that was about the physical health like eye strain, sleep habits.Second thing was emotional and social health like how much time to spend with technology. They mentioned about when the students viewing or sharing the pictures and videos and how they affected. Might be they consider the online bullying is also one type of the threats. Also, safety guidelines like managing identity that include personal information which they shred online. He discussed about managing privacy and dangerous behaviors, recognizing the behaviors which is distracted while using technology.      

That discussion was good and all students shared their thoughts. He talked about the digital foot print and that knowledge we got from some expert’s presentation and from the reading. So we keep this thing as handy because in this computer age, students need to know this things and that makes better future.

We also got some time to complete the tech task. This is cool idea to do independence work and make trust on the students. This idea we could use in classroom like we can provide some time to work on study. So, first we can provide some knowledge about the subject and then students can explore their ideas, thoughts, and knowledge about that subject area in work period.

TT_7... INFOGRAPHICS....

Infographics represent the graphic information which is easy to understand because infographics is visual presentation. For quick communicate a message people can use infographics. That can be useful in classroom if we use that in different way. Infographics is visual and so that could be helpful to the students to understand more with their interest. We could consider that as a note taking or for review or for summary. Even students can make it in the end of every lesson as a short note. From that way, they can participate and explore their thoughts for related subjects. I would say infographics is useful for teacher as well as for students. Teacher can do review, make summary, short notes, project and can do assessment of the students. And every student can do that work with interest. Even students can consider in presentation and they can make it creative with their ideas. So, I would say it is very interesting and useful for every subjects. Even for mathematics and science too. 

I have attached some online infographics here. When I have seen online infographics then that was hard to select best one for me. I have selected first image because I like colorful image and that describe earth evolution about past, present, and future on one page with different images and short descriptions. I would say this is more visual and covered all things with images.




I used second image in my last practicum in grade 12 biology and at that time I didn’t know that I was using infographics. I like this image too because that is visual and so students can learn without reading that material about three different ways of breathing. Also, they can do comparison between human and animal.



I made infographics for algebra in mathematics. When I have completed infographics for algebra then I thought that it is useful for students if I give them in the end of the lesson or they can make this kind of infographics using images or examples and make it creative. I have used easelly tool to make inforgraphics. This is cool application and I would like to use in my classroom and even I can make for every lesson to provide them kind of short note. There are many tools to make inforgraphics in creative way.


TT # 5..... DIGITAL FOOTPRINT

In this century, most of the people connected with technology and most of the people are not aware of their identity is more public than private. When we use technology at that time we thought that, we are using this privately and no one know about that but when we use it, we leave our identity. For example, when we walk on sand and we left our image of foot and this sign is our footprint. Here I am talking about digital footprint. Digital footprint is all the things we leave behind as we use the internet. When we do comment on Facebook, twitter, any social media, Skype calls, email, any app use that all are part of our online history and can see by other people or they can track in a database. Even when we do online shopping, and when we visit some sites then other people can track our data. Nowadays we are using lot technology and everyone are connected with technology like WhatsApp, Snap chat, Skype, Facebook, twitter, google, YouTube and a lot.

Any online information or I would say our digital footprint which can be searched, seen, and shared by invisible audience and so it is important to understand about digital footprints. Personal information can be stolen by hackers sometimes. If someone hack your account or make some fake profile and then post some bad pictures or conversation, blogs so that gives wrong impression to others and lot youngsters do suicide for that. So, that is important to provide write information about digital footprint and so that students can get knowledge about social media and their effects. In school, students are using online tools, applications and even social media and so we need to provide information about how to use and what to use online and how to secure password and profile. Even students are like to use Facebook, twitter, Snap chat and sometimes they share their personal information, photos, videos and so sometimes they face problems. So, before we post any thing we need to think that is that true, is that illegal, is that secure, is that harmful to other.

Every day students are like to post something online and so teacher can discuss, teach and even school can help students to build a positive digital identity. Because students’ blogs, online tools, wikis, google docs, Symbaloo are useful in study and that can create more interest in study. We can help students to create an online portfolio. We can give some projects to make blogs, short video, infographics, mind map. Before provide information about how to protect your digital footprint, teacher should get all information and school can provide information or they can search online. We should help our students and aware them for their security of technology.

TT # 9... Online Video

I think video strategy in teaching is very useful for the students. I like to use video in my classroom which can be helpful for the students because videos are more interesting, engaging and visual and so students can memorize more. In my placement my CT would like to use video in biology class and she played video in the end of every lesson which was related to lesson and so students can revise that whole lesson. Even it is helpful to play before the lesson to give overview and so when we teach them then students can connect both and memorize easily.

We all have experienced that when we watch movie even before fifteen to twenty years ago, we still can tell whole story of that movie because that was visual. So, if we use this strategy in our class then students will get more interest. And that can be beneficial for visual learner. In my one placement, I played one video in mathematics instead of mental math and after that video students solve the example in groups. Even we could play the video to encourage them or I would say some videos to motivate them.




I have attached link for mathematics and I like that video because in this video one person is talking about Tortoise and hare and he explained dependent and independent system very nicely. I like to watch videos on YouTube. My one of the CT was recorded her video and uploaded on YouTube and so if some students missed her lecture then they can watch that video online and that is also useful for revision. That’s depends on school division because in some school we cannot access that. Even we can give some project in mathematics or science and students can make creative videos for that. In mathematics students have to do practice using pen and paper but if they watch visual video then they can clear the main concept of the lessons. So, from my point of view video strategy is very useful in classroom. 

TT # 6 .. My Personal Learning Network...

Personal learning network shows our connection or I would say that shows our network with technology. We could make it creative and more visual using pictures and videos. I like to use internet but before this class I didn’t use much more. Even when I was in university in my home place at that time I was just connected with Facebook, Gmail, WhatsApp and today I have broad network which I have made over here.


In PLN, I have added my learning network and when I done my work then I was wondering about my learning network. I thought that I learned many tools and technology which I have added in PLN. In my home country, I never did online shopping but now I like to buy online from amazon, eBay. I would say my personal learning network which I am using this time is very beneficial for me. If I had this learning network in my university time, when I was doing Master degree in mathematics then I think I had great opportunity. If we connect our learning network with teaching then that can be beneficial, more interesting and more engaging for the students. Also, learning network make connection between people and we could know that what’s going on in the world. By using blogs, twitter, Facebook, Google+, we could post our thoughts, ask questions, and participate in discussion. We can use blogs in our classroom, so students can post and we can reply, students can do discussion and we can do an assessment.
I used mindmup to make learning network for 21st century students and for personal.

When we share, post online which can be useful to other people. Lots of blogs and post are very useful for people. I would say blogs are powerful way for students, and for educators to connect. Twitter which I never have been used before this class. For that I would say twitter is the most popular tool. Main thing for PLN is to improve our work and performance, to get knowledge, and to make connection.


In 21st century, students are using lot technology. They have broad learning network. They are connected with people on twitter, Facebook, snapchats, Instagram and lot. Lot students are using technology for education. I would like to expand my learning network to get more knowledge, and for creative and interesting teaching.

BLOG 6.........

Last three weeks are left. I am ready to go for placement and I will use some technology in my classroom. We had very informative two sessions about their own work. They have only 4 to 5 years of experience but they delivered knowledge very nicely and differently. Both have discussed their own work in their subject in how integrated the technology in their work. Mainly both have discussed about blog and twitter but both have used in different way. As an educator, we got very well information about teaching method and learning procedure.

In the second presentation, Mr. Tylor gave information about google drive folder, google forms as well as remote application. He talked about the video project and how to upload in the tiny.cc. I heard first time about this application in class and now I have started the bit playing with URL tiny.cc It has lot of different usage like edit link, uploaded video and monitor as teacher etc. He talked about dropittome application, in which we can securely receive files from anyone into your cloud storage and it works with one drive, google drive and dropbox. I liked his book project that how students can leave memory in the school and also that can be useful in future learning when they write some research paper or doing something else. He also talked about how they are working on Instagram for Julian and Romeo story. They made twitter account for school activity and permitted by the school principal.

First presentation presented by Mrs.Kirsten Thomson about their blog and twitter. That presentation was on zoom and that was nice. She made blog on history project and students can do some comment on that. She uploaded the project topic and rubric also. When students have doubt then students can open the blog or send message via blog. Also, students can share their idea on blog and discuss with peers. She mentioned that all students have Gmail account so I think students doesn’t have any problem. She talked about reminder application for reminding the exam, homework or some important message. Also, she talked about digital citizenship. I learnt from her that how can we behave in school so principal or superintendent have no problem with our work. She talked about twitter, how it is useful to inform everyday activity to the parents.


Finally, I would say in this week again I got lot new information and also I learned that if we do some effort and connect our knowledge with technology then we could get best result. And that could be useful for teacher, students, and parents.

WEEK FIVE...BLOG 5

In fifth week, Daniel Dillon presented his work like virtual reality, 20 times project, and Mat School V. Traditional School. Also, he talked about how they got idea and how they have been working on this idea. I noted that how important is professional development because he insisted to us for going to attend ISTE conference. He also said they got idea about VR from conference.

Virtual reality is very useful in mathematics topics like geometry, vector analysis, and we know that any topic in math which is always connected with graph. Generally we draw the graph in 2- dimension. We need graph in 3-dimesion before this idea, I had used MATLAB software in which we can write 3 to 6 lines programs and after that we get 3 –dimension graph and this software are also costly. And first time I heard that virtual classroom for learning. Benefit of that type is students are more engaged, memorized and understand, this three-thing helpful to get good score in their study as well as well as decrease the stress level in exam time.

I also liked his second idea about the collaborating working means project work. He talked about how we get idea about 20 time project. Project work also applicable for any class like kindergarten to university and we all know that doing is better than reading. This is first step to do some innovative work. Because I know my math professor making big money in India because they used their math skills in project work. Also, some students are also helping them in project work and in thesis and they also get money.


Finally, Both topics are really helpful in teaching and learning . I know, the devolvement like this take lot of time and need more related thought but we can develop this by using from some practice. Thank you Daniel Dillon and Dr. Nantais to give me this knowledge.

WEEK 4...BLOG 4......

Digital citizenship is the state of being a citizen of a definite social, political or national community; these carries both responsibilities and rights with them. Digital citizenship is a learning tool for students and children for proper technology usage, it also a good way of preparing students and children for a society full of technology. An element of digital citizenship is digital literacy. Digital literacy is best described as the process of learning about the appropriate and inappropriate use of technology. Digital literacy includes skills such as: searching for information, evaluating the content of websites, co-operate in networks, and organizing the plenty of information available online.

On Thursday, I have missed my class but I have discussed the presentation about MAPLE with my husband. We discussed about the how we can join the MAPLE because in presentation they mention about if you don’t mention pre-service teacher than they send email about your school Email ID. But I have one question in my mind that how could the parents join the Maple who wish to join that?


In Maple, the educators share the idea about the subject and if teacher has any questions about their subject then they get knowledge from the maple via blog, Wikis and events. They also provide the personal space for teachers’ material. I have missed those things but I got basic idea about that and even in last semester in ICT class I got some knowledge about that.

TT 3.. Twitter

In second week we learned about different PLNs (Personal Learning Networks). One of PLNs was Twitter. Twitter is one of the growing kind of technology wise, social communication wise as well as every field person get information. Anybody who use twitter could see and read a public discussion and blogs. So many celebrities, and brands are like to use twitter.


Many of us are using Facebook, blogs to share some ideas and thoughts. We could share our own expertise, thought, ideas, knowledge and comment with other educators via twitter. Twitter is a place for sharing information and that connecting with others. In classroom, teacher can use twitter for assessment. Students could share their knowledge through blogs and comment. So, Teacher could create some group discussion on some topic. Even for assessment teacher can check writing skill and there are so many things that teacher can do using twitter in classroom. And that can create interest in related subjects. 

WEEK 3...BLOG 3....



This is our third week in this class and in this week we had two guest came to deliver knowledge about internet, traditional learning and online learning, blackboard learn. In blackboard learn we could get lot material for different subjects and that was awesome because we could use that in our classroom. Even when we uploaded any video from YouTube and we could play that video without any advertisement. I got material for mathematics and science. I like their organization technique because I made material for different grade in mathematics and I saved that materials in different folders. But in blackboard we can arrange that in proper way.

Online learning is useful for those students who cannot able to attain school or university. So many students would like to attain online courses to save their time. Online courses needed some recourses like virtual classroom software, browser, microphone, webcam, software application. Online learning is useful to build a community. Blended learning is useful because teacher could engage and motivate the students and students have some control over the pace and place their learning will take. But in traditional learning students can more interact with other students in class and even with teacher. Even teacher can understand feelings and problems of the students.


In second day I attained the class on zoom and that experience was good. We all participated in group discussion, we used white board to write something, and chat with our classmates. Zoom is useful because host can show his/her screen to all other person. I am using Skype and face-time most frequently every day. Even I use zoom every month for group meeting related to spiritual work and for youth program (related to religious). Technology is so wide, every day we can learn some new technology.

ASSIGNMENT ....TT- 2 ..




I always like to organize my all materials. So, I always try to organize my folders related to lessons, notes, documents, portfolio in my computer. There are so many websites which are useful to organize our data. It is important for teachers and the students to organize. Also depends on person that which curation they like to follow. I search online and I found that there are more than 30 different curations. From that I was familiar with Diigo, Feedly, Symbaloo, Hootsuite, Pearltrees.


Feedly and Symbaloo are great tools in which we could organize our useful and important sites. In feedly I like one thing that when some person share their blogs, I could see that blogs without searching that person. We could share anything from feedly to Twitter, Facebook and WordPress. 


In Feedly when we connect Twitter, link for blogs, then that always arrange the latest stuff first. When in Symbaloo we couldn’t see latest updates. Before using Feedly and Symbaloo, I used bookmarks in google. But instead of bookmarks in google symbaloo and feedly are more useful and creative.

I have one question about Google docs. Can I consider Google docs as a curation? Because in Google docs I could save my material, documents, and then I could share that documents with any person. Google docs is also useful to organize and save our materials. And people could make changes and share that document with us.

I would like to use curations in my last placement and that is useful for students and teachers. Students can use in school to organize their assignments, project, notes, review, reading material, useful sites. So, they could save their stuff to use in future.


SECOND WEEK..BLOG 2


In second week of this class we learned about PLN (Personal learning Networks) for educator. And that networks should be interested, useful and should be safe for users. That tree things are required when we join any applications like Facebook, twitter. Before year ago I like to use Facebook, to connect with friends, to share something. But someone hacked my account and uploaded some video. And so I closed my account at that time. So I am always conscious about security of my account and so when I used twitter first time, I was little bit worried about safety of the account.

In school safety is important when our students use technology. In this week we had guest on zoom and he gave us some information about digital realities. Dr. Alec Couros show us some videos, in which students recorded their talent and then uploaded on YouTube.  Some students prefer to learn from video because we they are learning from video, they could pause that video to rethink, repeat that video and they can play again to understand and for revision. When in class they can’t do that thing. Even so many teachers are like to watch video to teach and to get better strategy to teach.

In last placement, my CT always recorded her class lecture and then she uploaded on YouTube. So, if students missed class then they can learn and even for revision that is useful. She also used skype, so if some students have some problem to attaining the class, they could join skype and can learn online. So, I would say this types of technology like zoom and skype are useful for teachers and students. I would like to use more technology in my last placement, which can create interest to learn, and also that save our time.

BLOG 1 ...First Week.....


To learn more about Internet (technology) I have again good chance in this class. I think there is no end to learn technology. I can learn some new things in technology every time, and every day. In the first week of class we learned about twitter, Hootsuite, feedly, and symbaloo. I learned about symbaloo and feedly in ICT class which are useful tools. I used symbaloo and it was a great application and I didn’t use feedly more in last semester. In feedly we can brings all applications (twitter, Facebook…) on one page, so we don’t need to go individually to access the sites for each.

We discussed on topics like ‘what is the Internet?’. For that I would say Internet is a platform to connect people, show self-identity, quick searcher, and shortcut path to get information about anything and from any place in the world. Nowadays everyone needs Internet for searching, to connect with people, education, job, research, etc. So, I would say Internet is a part of our life in this century and as we know there are so many pros & cons for Internet which I don’t want to discuss here. 


















 I had never used this application, but I like to read some good articles, discussion, blogs on mathematics, science, technology, and about education. Twitter is not only for connecting with people, but also great a place for sharing our ideas, articles, platform to show your identity, and an online blogging social network. Another good thing is we can protect our tweets by making our tweets private and more secured than any other site.
